Entrepreneurial spirit
As a young child having a mother with a huge entrepreneurial spirit, MrsJK learned quickly that the way to overcome struggles and achieve desired results was to work hard. At the tender age of six, MrsJK created Christmas cards and calendars to sell to neighbours to generate extra pocket money to spend on sweets. She taught herself to braid hair and began promoting her hair braiding skills by word of mouth and quickly became the favourite stylist for her college peers and parents of young children within the community. Little did she know, those entrepreneurial and resourceful skills would follow her throughout her life and into her own business ventures and charitable organisations. In 2009 she founded a charitable organisation called Grace’s Space which provides support for families with children on the Autistic Spectrum, she is the co-founder of JJCs which provides explorations for all children and young people through music and the Arts and is the founder of Soundwave Learning www.soundwavelearning.com. MrsJK also supports various charities through her roles as a trustee, fundraiser and coordinator.
MrsJK also has almost two decades of experience in family support, coaching, education, mentoring, consultancy and project management which have helped her develop quality services for a range of people and establishments.
