Words to inspire – Have fun in the dark tunnel

I’m sure we all know the saying “There’s always light at the end of the tunnel.” All darkness comes to an end so we can have hope. However, what do we do while we’re in the tunnel? Do we even enter it or go the opposite way?
My lil lady and I were in the woods and we came to the entrance of the tunnel. I hesitated a bit because it was so dark at the beginning and I was a bit nervous. We were in the middle of the woods type forest alone. We hadn’t heard the sound of other people for ages.
My lil lady detected my hesitation and said “Mummy don’t be scared.” So pretending not to be scared, I entered the tunnel. She pointed at the other end where there was light to remind me that the darkest comes to an end. I smiled. My lil lady always seems to have messages for me.
As we walked through the tunnel she raised her voice to make an echo and laughed her head off at the sound of it. As we drew near to the light she said “Wait let me dab.” I had to capture it on camera as I knew she was reminding me to have fun in the tunnel of darkness before we enter the light.
Throughout our lives there will be periods of darkness and we might not see the light at the end of the tunnel but it’s definitely there. For our own wellbeing it’s better to find opportunities to have fun in the midst of darkness because it will make things a whole lot easier. Either way we will reach the light at some point so why not find some enjoyment in the dark?
My lil lady showed me how to lighten up and it actually distracted me from the gloomy surroundings.
Try it! Even before you reach the light have fun in the dark.

Peace and love
