Words to inspire Alphabet Advent Calendar 2412

Day 24

Last day! Well I’ve gone with traditional advent calendars which have 24 days. So I’m covering the last three letters of the alphabet XYZ together.
X is for:
Xenial – hospitable especially to visiting strangers or foreigners.
Of the relation between host and guest; friendly.
Y is for:
Yearn – an intense feeling of longing for something; desire.
Z is for
Zestful – full of energy and enthusiasm.

This season is a great time to be hospitable. Many of us will be having family and friends over for meals and drinks. Some people will be those we have not seen all year or ever due to the complexity of life and distance. Lots of people become more friendly at this time. I pray that will remain throughout the season and the coming year 2017 too.
While we’re relaxing and being joyful, let us remember those who will be on their own for Christmas. If you know anyone personally in that situation, please show them love in whichever way you can.
A few of my friends are giving up time on Christmas Day to serve at soup kitchen type places for the homeless. God bless them. We might not be able to do that but we can donate to food banks and at the very least keep those people in our thoughts and prayers.
I hope I have made a strong point throughout the calendar about enjoying life and placing ourselves high up on the list. Be encouraged to yearn for better things for yourself, even if those things have already taken a considerable amount of time to appear. Keep your desires alive unless you have full confirmation that those things aren’t for you. If you do sense that, just know that there must be a greater plan.
With everything we do from this day forward, let’s do it with high energy and enthusiasm, even those horrible tasks. Cut out the moaning and the negativity, or at the very least please reduce it for your own wellbeing too.
