Words to inspire:
While driving the children to school this morning, I reflected on our journey as a family. My lil lady gets dropped off first and she skips into secondary school. She has opted to attend a few after-school clubs so she even stays there quite late. When I drop her off, I don’t give it much thought until it’s time to collect again. That sitting with my phone in my hand waiting for ‘the call’ is something of the past for my brain now. It’s just totally amazing.

When we attended the year 6 leaving ceremony of our lil lady we were so overjoyed. None of us felt the need to cry although we could have cried happy tears.
To see how far she had progressed was truly a miracle. I was thinking about that and then she picked up a love heart sweet from the table that had the message: “Miracles happen.” I don’t believe that was a coincidence at all. I needed that confirmation. She smiled as she handed it to me. Somehow she also knows that her journey is a miracle story.
We bumped into their nursery teacher the other day and I told her how well they were doing. She was the one that told me to believe. She must have believed that miracles happen. She wasn’t surprised when she saw my young man who could hardly talk when he was with her and reports were written to suggest that his schooling future would not be like it is now. I’ve told him about her so he was equally grateful to her. She was a real godsend.
Sometimes in life we feel like everything is hard and everything goes wrong and we can’t see how it could ever get better or be ok. Well if we were given insights into everything in our future would we be able to handle it?
I never thought I would see my husband laugh and joke again after the traumatic events recently but that miracle has come. I never thought I’d be able to wear one of my late mother’s cloths with a smile but I did. All things are possible but also miracles happen. We might need to wait for them but if they are meant to come they will surely come.

Peace and love
