Nae-Nae looks at the weather forecast on my phone daily and she is happy when it is going to rain. For years I never quite understood that, especially where we live. Dry days are limited so most people long for sun… She does loves the sun though, but she’s equally happy when it rains because she can put her wellies on and jump in muddy puddles. She also finds it amusing to run out of the house into the rain, get absolutely soaked, then run back in to dry off. Hmmm that girl!

We’ve been through many storms as a family and lots of people wondered how I still remained happy and positive during those extremely tough times. Although I wasn’t happy all the time, I learnt that it was important to find some enjoyment where I was, while I was on the way to the next place.
You might be going through some tough times and you long for the brighter days, but while you are in the rain would it be wise to remain miserable all the time? The rain could be around for a long, long time.
Personally, I think my girl has the right idea. It’s a choice, but I highly recommend that you find some enjoyment in the rain while you wait for the sun.
